LOW STIFFNESS TO WEIGHT RATIO

The use of maple provides a low stiffness to weight ratio, which makes an exceptional material for use in creating a neck that can withstand a considerable range of string tensions.

DIMENSIONALLY STABLE

Since most lumber has a natural tendency to undergo dimensional changes in different environments, the process of torrefaction (also known as thermal modification or roasting) significantly reduces its sensitivity to different temperatures and humidity levels. By roasting a neck blank, one can expect to have long-term dimensional stability when compared to other conventional methods.

    I ordered B stock just to see what it looked like, considering how good the pricing was. I was amazed! It has great figuring throughout and only a minor splinter that won’t even be part of the actual guitar neck. I can only imagine how amazing their good stuff will be!
