These will be 3A to 5A but contain slight stain or discoloration.
Some slight stain/discoloration, or minor small defects not exceeding 1/4", or
up to 3/4" heart wood on the edges of the lower bout, is contained within each top.

Awesome deal!
I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I have a custom kit guitar coming soon with a 5A maple top, and really wanted to practice on a similar grade of wood to fully understand how my finishing plan would play out on a highly figured top, but of course didn't want to shell out on an instrument grade top to practice on. I ordered this fully expecting some major flaws as noted in the description, and all I see are two beautifully matched, thick pieces of extremely figured maple that look 5A to me. These belong on an instrument, so I'm saving them for the top of my first from-scratch build.

Can't beat it at this price!
Just received it in the mail today. Exactly as expected compared to the online pics. Beautiful pieces of wood. I never thought I could get a 1" thick carve top of this quality for anywhere near this price.

Great figure for the money
The piece I received was a 3A with very good curly figuring. I do not see any discoloration or stain in the one I received.
